Elder Scrolls Skyrim Remastered Edition Coming to Game Consoles

July 3, 2016 |

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is still one of the best RPG games to ever hit the PC and game consoles. You get to control a hero that is called the “Dragonborn” and you have the innate ability to fight against dragons.

Furthermore, you can choose which race your Dragonborn’s going to get and each race has their own uniqueness to them; not only about their appearance but also their stats as well.

Now, Skyrim has been released a few years ago but there are still a lot of mods being developed and a lot of people are still playing this game up to this day.

There were a lot of rumors that on E3, we will have a glimpse of another Elder Scrolls game. But, although there was a trailer for an Elder Scrolls game, it is just its remastered version of Skyrim.

At the E3 conference, Bethesda studios released a trailer for the remastered edition of the game called Skyrim: The Definitive Edition. The people at Bethesda are mum about the complete details of the edition but from what I saw from the trailer, the graphics have dramatically improved across the board.

Now, the graphics are really farfetched in today’s console versions (PS3/Xbox 360) and that is because the Skyrim: Definitive Edition will be released for the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One game consoles.

Another trailer that’s been shown in the E3 trailer is their Elder Scrolls Online. They are going to have new updates in the coming months and it is going to be huge.

So, what does this tell us about the Elder Scrolls games? Well, it tells us that the Elder Scrolls games are actually one of Bethesda’s popular titles.

As previously mentioned, many people are continually playing Skyrim to this day so a lot of fans were really happy that there will be a remastered edition of the game.

The Skyrim: Definitive edition will be available for the PC as well as the Xbox One and Playstation 4 game consoles.

Now, it has just been recently announced that PC gamers who own an original copy of Elder Scrolls: Skyrim with all of the DLCs downloaded will have a free copy of the game coming to its release on October 28.

According to the Bethesda Studios Twitter account, Skyrim fans who have a Steam account with the complete game with all of the DLCs in it will receive a free game voucher in which they can claim the free upgrade.

It is still unclear if people who own the game console ports of the game will get the similar treatment, so we will have to wait and see.

This move is actually huge considering that Bethesda could get more money by selling the remastered edition. But if they really want to do this, this makes me think that they actually think of the fans.

The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Definitive Edition will be released on October 28 for the PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 game consoles.
